Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer has always wanted to be an all-purpose superstar. Growing up she discovered a wide range of musical styles, including Afro-Caribbean music like salsa, merengue and bachata, and mainstream music , like hip-hop, pop and R&B. Though she was a big lover of music, her attraction to the movie industry was also high. West Side Story (1961) was the Rita Moreno musical that has had the most influence on her, was also her greatest influence. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Alongside being a talented performer Jennifer became a Catholic schoolgirl. She attended for eight years in an Catholic elementary school named Holy Family, located within The Bronx, before graduating from an all girls prep school, Preston High School after an entire four years. When she was at school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete, and played track and field and tennis. Her entire life was living in a 2-story house located in the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer moved out of the house when she was 18 and moved in with her parents. Lopez was hired at an attorney firm during the day and took dancing jobs in the evening.
