Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox attended the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She took a course in harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for three years. She managed to make it by surviving on a student stipend, while working part time jobs. Lennox did not feel content with her performance compared with others at Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox started her professional career in 1976 in the band Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to her group being asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she was lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop group. In this band, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut album Diva. It came out in 1993. The album was an enormous critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tunes. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera an album of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. The first single from her debut album"Now I Letting You Go... It is the soundtrack to her exhibit of artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish philanthropist political activist and musician and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some success in the late 1970s. In the following years, Lennox was joined by the band with fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva with several hit tracks like Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album that features covers of songs like No MoreILove Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. She has six solo studio albums as well as a compilation album to her credit.
